My favorite place

When I had to think about a favorite place, immediately the beach was coming to my mind. But I can’t go to this place easily, and then I conform to a calm place. There are many Santiago's places that I like; they are more places about which I thought. One of these favorite places is the Quinta Normal Park; it’s one of the most popular public parks of the city of Santiago.

Why do I like this place? Well, because it’s a place that though it is very crowded is calm and is not so far away of my home. Since it is a park, it has many green areas, where I can rest; I can read or converse with friends.  Another point to favor is that, nearly together of the park is the Library of Santiago, which is magnificent, the perfect mixture a good book and an agreeable place where to read.

The first time that I went to the park, I was very small and I was accompanied whit my family. They led me to knowing principally the lagoon and the boats that existed. I remember that I was charmed with the ducks. Also I remember that I walked between the museums and I liked very much the technological museum.  After this day, it passed a lot of time in order that I was returning when I was finishing the secondary school, I went with my friends.  This year, some friends and me, we went to celebrate the birthday of one of them, it was cool because we were calm celebrating in a nice place.

This latter time I try to visit the Quintal Normal Park, whenever I could, because my body and my soul need from pure air, the nature and peace ... much peace. 

Children's pranks!

When I was a girl, in my family only there were two children my sister and me. Now, nobody of us be, physically because in our heart, we are. 

In this time, I wanted to be a doctor, this way I might cure the patients, I thought of inventing a remedy to cure all.  I remember that one of my favorite games was to raise the skirt of my grandmother in the street with my cousin, it was very funny. Also, I liked to play at disguising together with my sister with the clothes of our mom.

I being around children it’s very nice, really I love it. Because they are full of life, they are very funny, sincere. I don’t get bored being with them. They are more than any especial person. Undoubtedly, the way of being a child in our society changes with the time. 50 or 100 years ago all was different also the people.

We have to should teach children that everything is possible if they believe, if they believe in themselves.

I have not thought how many children to have, but I'm sure that I want to be a mother. Maybe, two or three.... at end, the time will say.  =)

The technology and me

Magic hands?

 From a lot of time that the technology accompanies me, though I do not go together with her …

 It is that when I have a technological device in my hands, I don’t know very well how to use it, I believe that with better that I remove it is with my laptop, it doesn’t stop working if I touch it.

The laptop my dad gave it to me when I entered to the university. Because of it I it uses very much, especially to do the works, but what more me pleases the computer, it is that I can guard many things, especially, my remembers … images of important moments, videos and texts that I write, it is for it that I cannot stop occupying, every day I use this.

I believe that me it would be very difficult not to be able to have my computer with me because somehow, almost my external memory works.

Then, for my now the technology is the great one allied  J

Free Time...

Take a rest!

During the week I don’t have a lot of time, The university is demanding enough, then it is not much that I go out or what I amuse myself, but when I do it … uf I disburden! In general when I have free time I enjoy with my family and my friends. The time we spend it mainly conversing about that we like, we feel, etc.

To clear my mind of the studies, I listen to little music, when I am too stress, prefer listening to Enya's songs and this way I relax a bit, but also I listen Latin music or in Portuguese. And also I like to see some movie. If you want to invite me to some site, please don’t take me to the stadium, I don’t like it, I was never very good for any sport, and neither I am fond of one, hahahaha the truth is that I am a bit sluggish for it now, with luck I go out to walk sometimes. But before, I was in the habit of doing more activity, if! Not always I was a sedentary hahaha.

I believe that my free time I do not take advantage of it to the most, and it is because I don’t organize to manage to do everything what I like or to share much more with that I want.

Well, I wait to share my free times with you.

PAULO FREIRE

“Nobody liberates anybody, nobody is liberated only”

He was born in Recife, Brazil. He was son of a family of middle class down. He studied in the university, Law and Psychology at the same time. But he did not practice as lawyer, but it gave Portuguese classes in the secondary. It worked principally with the poor people that they could neither read nor write.

With his beginning of the dialog, he taught a new way for the relation between teachers and pupils. His ideas influenced and they influence the democratic processes all over the world. He was the pedagogue of the oppressed and in his work it transmitted the Pedagogy of the Hope.

His Work:

Freire's pedagogy says that the persons learn across daily situations, where his own experience contributes the generation of situations of learning. There is thought over and analyzes the world in which it is lived, not to adapt but to transform it.

The method is to see the words and to think over them critically, for it do conscience of the reality and to propose to fight for his emancipation. The reflection is generating conscience of fight for transforming the reality and to be liberated of the oppression.

I like very much Paulo Freire's work because he listens to who before nobody listened, he was interested for the forgotten ones and I believe that this labor opens the eyes for the world.

The music in me

Hello, This opportunity I want to tell you about the music.The music it’s very important in my life because it help me to feel and imagine new worlds and great moments.
Well, sometimes I feel happy, sometimes I'm sad, so depends of my humor more than the music that I listen to.  Generally I’m quiet with the music.

The kind of music that I particularly dislike is the Brazilian funk because both style of music, women are treated as sexual objects in the lyrics of the songs, apart from that the melody isn’t so bad.
My favorites singers are the Chayanne and the Ivete Sangalo,
 I like them because they are very good persons and their voice is very harmonic his lyrics charming, romantic, especially Chayanne  my favorite sing is "Lo dejaría todo porque te quedaras.” Ivete great personality is a woman with very energy and a big heart, my favorite song is "Tava pensando em Nós dois" that sing with Seu Jorge.
Lamentably I've never been to a concert, I hope be in one someday. So I can only listen from my computer hahaha.
If I were a song I maybe would the Coldplay’s “Fix You” because I believe that whatever happens, there will always be a light to guide us the way. =)

I'm not good at making music but I Know play a musical instrument it’s the sweet flute. I think that I sing better than I make music.

For me, the music is passion, emotion; without music is similar to the loss of the senses. She gives us the feeling ... often talks about the story about the people, we say what we think through it, music is life and it simply must exist.

Well, a little about me. I’m Yessenia Pino Cuevas. I have twenty one years old.  I am study Playgroup assistant and elementary teaching in the Universidad de Chile, I’m in third year.

I live in Santiago of Chile, specifically in Padre Hurtado city. I like to the travel, Last year I
take part with a Catholic group called Heart’s Home, as missionary in Brazil, it was cool... I will continue talking them in other opportunities when it was my experience in this country.
