Environmental care

Recently, people are more concerned than before about the environment…

I think that not all the people talk about the environmental friendly practices. Normally is in the school where the people learn about this practices, because is in this place where the children and the whole society is educated. Obviously the family is important too, because children and adults grow together and learn of each other.

There are steps to help to the environment, for example:  the organic elements recycling as paper, or separate vegetables from other trash.

I have incorporated some reuse habits as reuse the paper and I teach this practice to my family, especially to my father because He works in a printing fabric, then in to his job  he use a lot of paper.  Also, once time my mother was utilizing the organic trash to the plants in our garden in our house.

In the week I don’t use a car because I don’t know how to drive, but I didn’t use the bike neither. Sometimes I walk around on my neighborhood, but only when I have a time and this is not common.

I never supported any eco-organizations, but not because I disagree with them the reason is that I haven’t time to work on these organizations. I would like someday, in the future, have the time to work in associations that take care of the environmental.

This topic makes me feel so bad, because I really don’t do any important to reduce my carbon footprint, but I hope to get better.

I think that in our society we need more conscience to take care about the beautiful places that we have, in this way, we will have a place to live.

My Vacations

The vacations are very important because our bodies and minds can rest and relax. Also the vacations are the perfect time to share with the family and friends. Normally, the persons travel to places where can appreciate idyllic sceneries. I prefer places with more nature than in Santiago city, for example when I was a child I went every summer to Los Angeles because I love so mush the Laja’s waterfall.

In my vacations I will travel to Lima city in Peru to visit my friend Mayra and to know the Heart’s Home association that is in this country, because is very interesting for me. The reason is that I’m participating in this association in Santiago, so I want to know the missionaries that live there. Additionally, I would like to visit many sites, as museums, patrimonial houses, the beach, the “Brisas” theater where dance my friend and others places. In other opportunity I would like to visit the Machu Pichu’s ruins. Also I want to eat mush local food, as Ceviche and Lomo Salteado.

To get there, I bought an airplane ticket and the date of exit is February fourth. I’m so happy for this.

Good wish in 2012 for education of article “An education wishlist for 2012”

The news talks about some wishes for the education in the 2012. “Some hopes for the new year.” The article is a compilation of interviews make for some experts in education.  

The principal topics are the evaluations for children, child protection, a sabbatical for teachers, and other topics. For example the minister would like to rethink the phonics test.  In evaluation a philosopher talk about that for some the evaluation is more important that the process that every child. In other point a professor would like that change to teacher’s contracts, because exist pressure for that the teachers keep your employed. They must to do one annual test.

About child protection the Marine academy’s director talk that, if the people realise how great the needs of some children are, could have a change.

My favourite topic in this article is related with the importance of to study in the University for get a determined kind of job. The reason that I like in that the author says that it’s not only important because it will be studied only to answer to the labour market and it’s not properly in doing that. The teaching is not meaningful.

Movie :)

Hello, today I talk about of movies!

Since that the cinema was born, always it has had an important role in the society because it marks a trend in the people, for example in the mode: in the how the persons dress and we’re in public.

For this reason I think that in education, the movies are an important resource, because in them the children and any people, we can to see the role of the characters in the society, especially the called “games of roles”. We can see how the persons, we construct ourselves.

To exist some kinds of movies, between them there are the movies of drama, action, horror and comedy.  I prefer the movies with a lot humor, because it’s funnier and I love that something that makes me smile a lot, but also it should to be romantic because I love to cry a little too.  For this my favorite movie is “The Notebook”. The argument talks about two young that we’re lovers and when they are elders Noah it tells his history of love to his companion.

Finally I’ve to say that the last movie that I saw it was a Brazilian movie called “Tropa de Elite 2” a film of action and suspense.

A corner of captivation... France!

Hi, in this opportunity I talk about of the country that I would like to know.

 One of my big dreams is to know many countries, so many countries since be possible. Therefore they’re very mush my favourite places that I would wish to know. Undoubtedly the country that more calls me by his romanticism, is France and in particular the city of Paris. 

I think that it’s one of the cities most beautiful and stylized of the world. In addition it is one of the most complete cultural centres, since it possesses numerous museums, cathedrals and cultural places.  Then, I wanted to walk and to see all these pretty places, to impede myself with the environment and the magic that exists in each one.

It’s known also as the city of the love, with the postcard of the Tower Eiffel as part of a romantic trek for the famous streets of Paris. I know that it’s an acquaintance centre of the art and of the history, which is important for the education. 

A strange term… summer in class??

This summer for me, it is very different. Well, not only for me, it's also for many persons, for many university students because every January we will be in classes. Almost we might speak of a summer without vacations.

The truth, I feel that it is a bit interesting ... and I am with a little enthusiasm a bit because it's beyond the common. The bad thing is that I sit very much but a lot of heat ... if we could have the classes in a swimming pool it would be entertained and most agreeably.

Something that I like is that for the first time in my life, my birthday will be in time of classes. This it was my dream when girl ahahaha

My favorite place

When I had to think about a favorite place, immediately the beach was coming to my mind. But I can’t go to this place easily, and then I conform to a calm place. There are many Santiago's places that I like; they are more places about which I thought. One of these favorite places is the Quinta Normal Park; it’s one of the most popular public parks of the city of Santiago.

Why do I like this place? Well, because it’s a place that though it is very crowded is calm and is not so far away of my home. Since it is a park, it has many green areas, where I can rest; I can read or converse with friends.  Another point to favor is that, nearly together of the park is the Library of Santiago, which is magnificent, the perfect mixture a good book and an agreeable place where to read.

The first time that I went to the park, I was very small and I was accompanied whit my family. They led me to knowing principally the lagoon and the boats that existed. I remember that I was charmed with the ducks. Also I remember that I walked between the museums and I liked very much the technological museum.  After this day, it passed a lot of time in order that I was returning when I was finishing the secondary school, I went with my friends.  This year, some friends and me, we went to celebrate the birthday of one of them, it was cool because we were calm celebrating in a nice place.

This latter time I try to visit the Quintal Normal Park, whenever I could, because my body and my soul need from pure air, the nature and peace ... much peace.
