My favorite place

When I had to think about a favorite place, immediately the beach was coming to my mind. But I can’t go to this place easily, and then I conform to a calm place. There are many Santiago's places that I like; they are more places about which I thought. One of these favorite places is the Quinta Normal Park; it’s one of the most popular public parks of the city of Santiago.

Why do I like this place? Well, because it’s a place that though it is very crowded is calm and is not so far away of my home. Since it is a park, it has many green areas, where I can rest; I can read or converse with friends.  Another point to favor is that, nearly together of the park is the Library of Santiago, which is magnificent, the perfect mixture a good book and an agreeable place where to read.

The first time that I went to the park, I was very small and I was accompanied whit my family. They led me to knowing principally the lagoon and the boats that existed. I remember that I was charmed with the ducks. Also I remember that I walked between the museums and I liked very much the technological museum.  After this day, it passed a lot of time in order that I was returning when I was finishing the secondary school, I went with my friends.  This year, some friends and me, we went to celebrate the birthday of one of them, it was cool because we were calm celebrating in a nice place.

This latter time I try to visit the Quintal Normal Park, whenever I could, because my body and my soul need from pure air, the nature and peace ... much peace.
